An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
